Off their heels and onto the wheels
A small few opted for their wheels as a change of weekend activity to take part in the Pedal for Scotland road cycle event where participants ride from Glasgow to Edinburgh.

Ready for the off at Glasgow Green
It was a nice early start as we needed to head over to Ingliston park and ride, Edinburgh to catch a coach over to Glasgow for the start of the ride. In case we were not set for enough miles on the wheels, the group opted for a ride out to the coach meeting point setting off at 4:30am.

After a 45 mile closed road route from Glasgow to Edinburgh, relatively flat with some hills and a not so friendly road bike finish we were back full of smiles branding a new medal.
Still a few more miles to go though to get back home, via a pit stop of course.
